Mr. Arup Gupta is an IT professional with formidable credentials. He brings with him over 30 years of experience. He has most recently been the COO, President & Executive Director of Polaris Software Lab (2005-09) where he was responsible for all operations, delivery and sales. He also served Optimus, a Polaris subsidiary, as its Director.
Mr. Gupta's tenure in the Chennai-based organization witnessed four-fold improvement in profitability and 2O% annualized year-on-year growth in revenues.
Prior to Polaris, Mr. Gupta had been with TCS since 1979 and was President, North America, in his last assignment there. He was credited with five-fold growth in a five-year time span in the US.
He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and a long-standing member of the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). |
