NOIDA (India), August 13, 2007 - Birlasoft India Ltd, the Information Technology arm of the $ 1.2 billion C K Birla Group, has been positioned in the niche players section by Gartner Inc in its Magic Quadrant for North American Offshore Application Services, 2007. Published on August 6, 2007, the report has been co-authored by lead analysts Frances Karamouzis, Allie Young, Helen Huntley, Partha Iyenger, Ian Marriott and Gianluca Tramacere.
This industry thought leader analysis comes on the heels of NASSCOM’s evaluation which placed Birlasoft among the top 20 software exporters in India. The Gartner report has assessed the companies on two parameters viz. ability to execute and completeness of vision.
